By installing or using ZenBriefr ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use the App. These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and ZenBriefr LLC.
2. Description of Service
ZenBriefr provides AI-powered ticket summarization, OCR text extraction, and smart attachment processing for Zendesk instances. The service integrates with your Zendesk account via OAuth authentication.
3. Account Terms
3.1 Registration
- You must provide a valid Zendesk account for registration
- Admin-level access to your Zendesk instance is required
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
3.2 Trial Period
- New accounts receive a 7-day free trial
- Full feature access during trial period
- No payment information required for trial
3.3 Subscription
- Paid subscription required after trial period
- Billing details and pricing available at time of subscription
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
4. Acceptable Use
4.1 Permitted Use
- Use the App for legitimate business purposes
- Process ticket content within your organization
- Extract text from business-related documents
4.2 Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Use the App for illegal activities
- Process content containing malware or viruses
- Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the App
- Share account credentials with unauthorized users
- Exceed reasonable usage limits
5. Data and Privacy
5.1 Data Processing
- Ticket content is processed temporarily and immediately deleted
- No customer data is stored on our servers
- Processing complies with GDPR and other privacy laws
5.2 Third-Party Services
- OpenAI GPT-4 processes ticket content for summarization with zero data retention
- Supabase stores account authentication data only
- All third-party processing follows their respective privacy policies
5.3 Data Security
- Enterprise-grade encryption for all data transmission
- OAuth-based secure authentication
- Regular security audits and monitoring
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 App Ownership
- ZenBriefr LLC retains all rights to the App software
- Users receive a limited license to use the App
- No transfer of ownership rights
6.2 User Content
- You retain ownership of your ticket content
- You grant us temporary processing rights only
- We claim no ownership of customer data
6.3 AI-Generated Content
- Summaries and OCR results are provided as-is
- You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content
- We make no warranties about accuracy or completeness
7. Payment Terms
7.1 Subscription Fees
- Fees are charged in advance for each billing period
- Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
7.2 Payment Processing
- Payments processed through Stripe or similar service
- You must provide accurate billing information
- Failed payments may result in service suspension
8. Service Availability
8.1 Uptime
- We target 99.9% uptime availability
- Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance
- Emergency maintenance may occur without notice
9. Limitation of Liability

- The App is provided "as-is" without warranties
- We disclaim all warranties, express or implied
- No guarantee of accuracy for AI-generated content
10. Termination
10.1 Termination by User
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Service continues until end of current billing period
- Account data is deleted within 30 days of cancellation
